Coultre Power reserve window "bumper"
automatic watch. The watch with stunning
untouched original dial with applied
rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers
and hands, window below 12 o clock indicating
hours left in power reserve, on the
pic its showing 40 meaning if you took
it off and just left it it would run
for 40 hours on the power it has in
reserve when the power reserve drops
to 10 or below the window turns red,
quite ingenious for its day and works
perfectly. Not many watches left in
this type of clean untouched condition
nowadays and when you consider new jaeger
le coultres copying the 50s style watches
retail around £3500 new for something
similar to this, this really is great
value

watch in extraordinary mint original
condition,the watch has a stunning mint
condition white enamel dial , with bold
blued steel hands and Arabic numeral
hour markers with half minute divisions,
double screw case with screw on bezel
and case back, stamped on outside of
case back with Royal Navy issue numbers
"HS3 85911" and also marked
with the kings arrow denoting British
military issue,16 jewel high grade Longines
Gilt frosted movement, rare to find
and in this type of untouched condition.
Deck
watches were used as a secondary timepiece
aboard a ship which would be sychronised
with the ships main clock daily and
would act as a backup to the main ships
clock if there was a problem with it
and also could be used in a remote location
whereas the main ships clock would be
stationary.

is the one which the movement was
used in the Rolex Daytona until
